Cork City Council lifts Boil Water Notice

Cork City Council has today (Wednesday, 15th July 2009) lifted the Boil Water Notice issued on 9th July last to approximately 600 affected households in the northside of Cork city.

The results of tests taken on drinking water in recent days in the Knocknaheeny area are clear and in compliance with the Drinking Water Regulations 2007.

Following consultation with the Health Services Executive, the Boil Water Notice issued on 9th July 2009 is now lifted with immediate effect.
