Cork City Council hosts Civic Reception to mark 100th Anniversary of Cork College of Commerce

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Brian Bermingham, and Cork City Council hosted a Civic Reception in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Cork on 26th February 2009 marking the 100th anniversary of Cork College of Commerce.

Cllr Tim Brosnan chairman of the board signs the visitors book in the presence of city council staff , city councillors and college staff.

The Lord Mayor praised the staff of the College for their contribution to the city and wished them continued success The Cork College of Commerce can be justifiably proud of its status as the largest Post- Leaving Certificate College in Ireland . It is also the biggest provider of vocational preparation and training courses in the country.  The College has evolved and remained relevant to the needs of its students and the wider business community in all that time thanks in no small part to the dedication of its staff and the application of its students. I congratulate you for reaching this milestone and wish you all future generations of students every success for the future”.
