Cork City Council offers warm drinks for trendy commuters

As part of its promotional scheme to encourage the use of sustainable transport, Cork City Council will offer coffee and tea to commuters who walk, cycle and use public transport. Warm drinks will be distributed around 8.30am in key city centre areas from 15th to 19th December 2008.

§           Monday 15th December: Grand Parade Pavement (in front of Central Library)

§           Tuesday 16th December: College Road (in front of UCC Gate)

§           Wednesday 17th December:  Emmet Place (in front of Opera House)

§           Thursday 18th December: Paul Street (in front of  Tesco Shopping Centre)

§           Friday 19th December: Oliver Plunkett Street (in front of General Post Office)

The Warm Drinks for Trendy Commuters Initiative is organised by Cork City Council and supported by the Trendy Travel European project and Intelligent Energy Europe.
