Heritage Council Grants Programme 2007

The Heritage Council is seeking applications for imaginative and innovative proposals from organisations and individuals who wish to carry out projects that conserve Cork City’s heritage.


More than €2.3 million of National Lottery funding has been allocated to seven grant schemes for 2007. These include Local Heritage, Publications, Museums and Archives, Wildlife, Archaeology, Architectural Research and Buildings at Risk.


An additional €500,000 has been allocated to the Heritage Council from the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government for the Biodiversity Fund 2007.


The closing date for receipt of applications to the Heritage Council is 3rd November 2006 at 5 p.m.


This deadline applies to all schemes except the Buildings at Risk programme, which is open until 31st March 2007. Please note that funds for this scheme for 2007 have already been allocated. The Heritage Council is seeking applications for project works 2008. This programme is for Roof Repairs only.
