Cork City Heritage Plan

It’s Your City, Your Heritage,
Have Your Say!

Cork City Council is preparing a Heritage Plan for the City. The Heritage of Cork City encompasses the Natural Environment, the Built Heritage, Archaeology and Cultural Activities. The aim of the Heritage Plan is:


“To Secure the Heritage of Cork City, to Enrich the Lives of its People and to ensure that the Care of our Heritage - Past, Present and Future, is at the Heart of the Development of the City”.


The City Council is undertaking a preliminary consultation to identify the key Heritage issues for the City, and would like your views, in writing, on how the Heritage of the City should be developed and improved. Please forward these written submissions to:

The deadline for the receipt of written submissions is 5 p.m. Friday 28th of April(Now Expired).
