Afternoon programme

13.00 – 14.30 Performance of award winning play by Liam O Muirthile ‘Liadan na Abhainn’ performed by Aistoiri Gobnatan followed by music from the Cork Pipers Club.

14.30 – 16.00 The Global Village: no longer strangers but neighbours. Your chance to listen to readings and music in this colourful introduction to members of Cork’s new communities from Afghanistan, Croatia, Kurdistan, Albania, Lithuania Poland and Iraq.
Cheese Please ! The unique and popular Iago stall from the English market will visit the Library for a cookery demonstration.

16.00 - 16.45 Game for a Laugh: Comedian Michael Mee followed by Jim Mc Keon & Mary Condon reading Frank O’Connor

13.00 - 17.00 At the Movies: No need for tickets! relax with coffee and a muffin while watching the short films of Samuel Beckett.

16.45 – 19.30 Time for Teens: Raise your energy levels in the company of these enthusiastic teenagers!
