Important Water Notice - Disruption to service 25th November Bishopstown area  

Cork City Council in conjunction with the N25 Bandon Sarsfield Flyover Project will be carrying out essential engineering works to the water supply network at Bandon Road Roundabout between Friday 25th November 2011 at 9.00pm and Saturday 26th November 2011 at 7.00am. Properties in the following areas will experience reduced pressure and some higher level areas may experience disruption in supply:


Rossa Avenue




Melbourn Road


Curraheen Crescent

Curraheen Road


The Rise

Waterfall Road

Tiffany Downs



Cardinal Way

Bishopstown Road



And any other areas adjoining these streets.

Every effort will be made to keep the disruption to a minimum. Please ensure all taps and appliances are turned off for the duration of the disruption. Some discoloration to the water supply may also occur. This discoloration is harmless, and will clear in a short time. Please check the clarity of the water at the kitchen tap before operating drinking vending machines, washing machines, dishwashers, etc.
