One hour free on-street parking is still available from Monday to Saturday in Douglas. Free parking is available on Sundays.
The promotion began in September following the fire at Douglas Shopping Centre and Cork City Council will review it as further detail emerges about when the shopping centre car park is likely to re-open.
Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr John Sheehan said: “Douglas is very much open for business and if you’re doing some shopping or having a bite to eat, there’s a great range of shops and restaurants in Douglas.”
