Established in 1878, the Cork Butter Exchange Brass and Reed Band is one of the oldest bands in Cork. The band room will be open for Culture Night were members will answers any question as well as performance a recital of old classics and modern pop music.

Frozen Music: architecture, space and sound have a long, mutually influencing history. There will be performances from local primary schools, theatre, a multi-cultural choir and art exhibition from the youth group and senior citizens. The Masonic Hall, the home of Freemasonry in Cork since 1845, will open its doors with a guided tour of the building outlining the history of Freemasonry. A concert by the internationally recognised RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet will commence at 8pm in the Lodge Room. PLEASE NOTE: This event is now booked out.

Designed by William Burges and consecrated in 1870, the Cathedral lies on a site where Christian worship has been offered since the seventh century. Free guided tours at 5.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm, 9pm, and 9.30pm. Join us in Evening song at 6.15 pm and at a choral performance at 8 pm both performed by the Cathedral choir.

Visit this Gothic-style church dating from 1861 with three distinctive stained glass windows representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. See its choir gallery featuring an organ built by the Cork firm of Megahy in the 1900s. The church will host a choral performance at 5.30pm as part of the Cork Culture Night Choral Trail.
