Cork Lights Up for the Christmas Season

A Cork Christmas Celebration, presented by Cork City Council is now open.

With over 150,000 visitors last year, this year’s festival featuring the best of local artisan food and crafts producers at the Christmas Markets and the magical Christmas Lights in the Park will be bigger than ever and will run from November 30th to December 23rd.

Come see the magical world inspired by the Nutcracker as Bishop Lucey Park is awash in colours of Red and Gold. The park will be open over 4 weekends on the following dates:
Friday 30th November – Sunday 2 December,
Friday 7th – Sunday 9th December,  
Friday 14th – Sunday 16th December,
Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd December

Opening Times from 4 pm to 8 pm

This year the Christmas Markets as part of A Cork Christmas Celebration will be bigger than ever, featuring a full size Vintage Carousel and Helter Skelter and the return of  an outdoor stage. Choirs and groups are invited to perform within the market to collect for their local charity. 

The Market will take place for the following dates:
Friday 30th November – Sunday 2nd December
Thursday 6th – Sunday 9th December
Thursday 13th – Sunday 23rd DecemberOpening times: 10am until 8pm Daily
