The Finance Department manages the financial resources of the Cork City Council. It manages, controls and records all income and expenditure and arranges borrowing and leases and controls the investment of funds.
What is the NPPR (Non Principal Private Residence) charge?
The Local Government (Charges) Act 2009 introduces a 200 Euro annual charge on non principal private residences, payable by the owner(s) of the NPPR to the Local Authority in whose area the property concerned is located. A non principal private residence is any dwelling which is not the owner's normal home.
This is an important announcement from Cork City Council.
Wheel Bin Stickers for 2010 have been distributed and will come into effect on Monday, 21st June 2010. If you have not received your 2010 sticker please ring 021 4924569 or call to Refuse Charges Section, Ground Floor, City Hall.
Remember your service may be discontinued from 21st June 2010 if you do not have a 2010 sticker displayed on your wheel bin.
Customers are reminded that wheel bins displaying a dark blue 2010 sticker must also present the appropriate tag on the handle of the wheel bin. Customers are advised that in order to ensure collection, their wheel bins should be presented by 7.00 a.m. on the morning of collection.
