Information Systems is a service department which provides technical advice and support for Cork City Council’s information communications technology (ICT) requirements. The IS Department also provides information technology support for the 31 Elected Members of Council.
Cork City Council hosted a significant international conference at the Clarion Hotel in June 2009. The Information systems department lobbied successfully to ensure the annual conference for the Major Cities of Europe organisation was hosted in
